Keg River Chemical Corp. has formulated and manufactured over 200 blends of retail fertilizers for many well-known distributors and retailers over the last 20 years.

In addition to our private label services, our experience and expertise now goes into the manufacturing of our Keg River lines of high-quality fertilizers.

Many popular national brands of fertilizer contain heavy rock filler material with no plant nutrient – sometimes up to 50% by weight. At Keg River, we believe consumers deserve more. That’s why we guarantee that each product we formulate is 100% rich plant food. We formulate our blends with multi-component particles that increase nutrient coverage with each application. In addition, we go beyond standard Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium (NPK) formulations to include key nutrients such as Sulphur, Iron, Magnesium and Manganese, which all aid in plant functions such as photosynthesis and respiration. These functions provide darker coloured, vigorous turf, as well as higher wear tolerance, resilience and disease resistance. Premium Blends

STARTER 21-27-5 is Keg River’s phosphorus rich, early season and sod-laying fertilizer. High phosphorus content encourages root development ahead of vegetative growth. This helps to establish a strong turf that resists stress from drought and traffic.

• No Filler Rock Added – all ingredients are rich fertilizers
• High phosphorus content (27%) encourages strong, early season root development.
• Micronutrients Magnesium, Manganese, and Iron are added to aid in the plant functions photosynthesis and respiration that are important to produce vigorous turf with high wear tolerance, resilience and disease resistance.
• 5 sources of Nitrogen including 30% Slow Release Nitrogen from Sulphur Coated Urea and polymer coated Urea, which feeds nitrogen to lawn for up to 12 weeks.
• No watering in required; will not burn lawn when used as directed
• Coverage: 433 square metres (4650 square feet)
  

Keg River 29-4-6 Turf Fertilizer is a highly concentrated professional quality turf management fertilizer that helps provide fast greening.

• No Filler Rock Added – all ingredients are rich fertilizers
• Micronutrients Magnesium, Manganese, and Iron are added to aid in the plant functions photosynthesis and respiration that are important to produce vigorous turf with high wear tolerance, resilience and disease resistance.

FALL 12-8-16 is Keg River’s original winterizing blend. This blend provides high Potassium content (16%) to help resist winter stress, and to have an early start in the spring. There are 3 sources of nitrogen, and also supplements of Sulphur, Iron, and Magnesium – all-important nutrients that promote healthier lawn. By changing the source of nutrients, Keg River formulates blends that do not require filler.

• 30% Slow Release Nitrogen from Sulphur Coated Urea provides extended greening
  
• Four different nitrogen sources provide more even distribution of nitrogen
